fuzzy white circular areas. The one at the bottom left is the Vela remnant and the one to the right of the cross hair is a supernova remnant in the constellation Cygnus. The radiation from these objects is believed to come from gas, heated to millions of degrees Kelvin, lying in the collision front where the material ejected from the explosion collides with gas and dust in interstellar space.
